Livestock / Animal Husbandry Module
Purpose: Extend AOFS beyond crops to monitor, document, and support livestock management, including routine care and veterinarian tasks.
Key Functions:
Human Input & Logging:
Staff and veterinarians manually log treatments, observations, and routine care events
All events are timestamped, linked to individual animals or pens, and synchronized with Farm/HQ controllers
Integration Guidelines:
Data should follow AOFS standardized formats for logging and analytics
Optional AI or analytics can provide predictive health insights, but manual logging remains mandatory
Must support offline operation; sync to farm or HQ controllers when internet is available
Benefits:
Enables farms to maintain comprehensive health and care records
Facilitates compliance with veterinary and animal welfare regulations
Supports data-driven optimization of feeding, care, and production practices
Enables research or experiments on different husbandry practices, feeding regimens, or housing conditions
