Livestock / Animal Husbandry Module

Purpose: Extend AOFS beyond crops to monitor, document, and support livestock management, including routine care and veterinarian tasks.

Key Functions:

  • Animal Health & Veterinary Records
    • Record vaccinations, medications, treatments, and veterinary visits
    • Track illness events or recovery periods
  • Routine Husbandry Activities
    • Hoof trimming, grooming, and cleaning schedules
    • Feeding and watering events
    • Breeding, birthing, and growth tracking
  • Environmental Monitoring
    • Barn / pen temperature, humidity, and air quality
    • Optional automated sensors for critical livestock areas
  • Production Metrics
    • Milk yield, egg production, weight gain
    • Feed and water consumption

Human Input & Logging:

  • Staff and veterinarians manually log treatments, observations, and routine care events
  • All events are timestamped, linked to individual animals or pens, and synchronized with Farm/HQ controllers

Integration Guidelines:

  • Data should follow AOFS standardized formats for logging and analytics
  • Optional AI or analytics can provide predictive health insights, but manual logging remains mandatory
  • Must support offline operation; sync to farm or HQ controllers when internet is available
